Kat Clasen is a Bay Area based Interior Designer. Her practice artfully composes approachable spaces with an emphasis on color, craft, and form. Her designs consider the client’s needs, aesthetic, and the architecture of the space to achieve an interior that reflects those inhabiting the space - providing a design that is functional, livable, and unique to them. At the core of her work is the motivation to make spaces that reflect her client and better celebrate their daily lives.
Kat Clasen has a BFA in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design in New York, NY and a MFA in Furniture Design from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. For over two decades she has honed her design skills at notable firms Roman and Williams and S. Russel Groves, both AD 100 firms, in New York City, and Regan Baker Design in San Francisco. In addition to practicing Interior Design, she held roles as a product designer for Urban Outfitters, Pottery Barn Kids, and, her own brand, Pigeon Whole. Her work has been sold nationally and internationally.
Fun fact, as a junior designer she designed Gwyneth Paltrow's former NYC loft.
